This page is presently under construction but when it is finished you will be able to see the various dollshouses I have created which may in some way help you with your own projects.
Here is my Harry Potter house/shop. I collect Artisan miniatures from all over the world, as well as making my own. At the moment it is a little too full but my next project is a Tudor house which will eventually have three shops from Hogsmeade. One will be Honeydukes and I've yet to decide the other two.
This is the attic space which has been divided into two rooms .... one for Harry and one for Hermione. The dolls were handmade by Miss Sally World, sculpted with the faces of my children Sally also made Dobby, the raven and the rat. There are various owls, a sorting hat and quidditch box made by the wonderful Teresa Dudley, beautiful hats by Miss Amelias Miniatures and Crookshanks has been made by Dena of Studio10.
The first floor is a room for 'Fluffy' the three headed dog , complete with trap door underneath. The other room is for potion making and has loads of bottles of potion making ingredients, or some already made up. This is a really interesting room with lots to look at, if not a bit cluttered at the moment. When my new Tudor House is finished some of these items will be transferred to that, including the Stag Head which shouldn't be there anyway - it's destined for the library to be in my manor house.
You probably realise by now I'm a huge Harry Potter fan hence Peter Pettigrew doing a bit of shopping!
Here we have the ground floor which is presently a shop selling a variety of items (a bit like a minimart). The walls are coverefd in plaster, the real brick fireplace was designed and completely made by me, complete with oak mantle. All the floors in this house are lined with real wood planks and in Fluffy's room there is a trap door!
I am a huge fan of Artisan miniatures and you can see I have quite a few in this house alone! I tend not to make many pieces for myself, preferring to buy other people's work as a treat.
It is regrettable that I cannot remember all their names ........... perhaps if they ever visit this site they could contact me so that I may pay my respects to their work, in the meantime the ones I do remember are below.
